The Château Vannières Bandol Rouge 2020 is a relatively recent release from one of Bandol's top estates, and it reflects the characteristics of a warm vintage while showcasing the region’s hallmark style. The wine is primarily composed of Mourvèdre, the dominant grape in Bandol, with smaller amounts of Grenache and Cinsault rounding out the blend. The 2020 vintage is known for its sunny growing conditions, which resulted in ripe fruit balanced by enough freshness to give the wine vibrancy and aging potential.

Deep ruby red with purple highlights, reflecting the wine's youth and concentration. The wine appears vibrant and opaque, with a rich color typical of Mourvèdre-based wines.

The nose is aromatic and expressive, with a burst of ripe dark fruit such as blackberries, black cherries, and plums. There's a lovely interplay between the fruit and the earthy, savory notes of leather, tobacco, and dried herbs (rosemary and thyme), which are characteristic of Bandol’s Mediterranean climate. The influence of the oak is present but subtle, with hints of vanilla, spice, and a touch of smokiness that adds complexity without overwhelming the fruit. If the person accepting the delivery is out and there are no specific delivery instructions, Australia Post will leave a card indicating that they were unable to deliver your wine. Your case/cases will be returned to your nearest Post Office for your collection. Cases not collected within 14 days of the initial attempted delivery will be returned to us and a YourWines Customer Service agent will contact you to arrange re-delivery and payment of re-delivery fees if required. Please note that we cannot accept instructions to contact you as Australia Post delivery couriers cannot call before delivery. YourWines™ will not deliver to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.

OUR DELIVERY LEAD-TIMES

We normally despatch orders the same day if they are received before 1pm AEST on a business day. If orders are received after 1pm AEST they will be despatched the following business day. Once collected by our delivery partner, the estimated delivery times are:

METRO AREAS: NSW - 2-3 business days

VIC/ACT/WA/SA/TAS/QLD - 3-7 business days depending on location. Please allow up to 3 additional days for country and rural areas.
