More than 130 years of history that began in a small stone cellar in Oyón.

Generation after generation followed in their footsteps until Jesús Martinez Bujanda (4th generation), together with his father, created Bodegas Valdemar in the 1980s.

The pioneering character of Jesús Martínez Bujanda, who in the 1980s broke the mould with emblematic wines such as the first barrel-fermented white wine and later launched the first single-varietal Maturana or Tempranillo Blanco wines, is in the genes of his children Ana and Jesús.

Bodegas Valdemar is currently one of the most prestigious international brands that carries the Rioja brand around the world and is proud to be present on all 5 continents.
